Barbara started her real estate career in the early 1980' s, earning her Broker license and degree from Graduate Realtors Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. Her real estate career was interrupted in the 1990's when she assisted her husband in building a very successful international consulting business -which included living and traveling in Europe for more than 6 years.

Meeting and working with people of many nationalities, cultures, and languages solidified Barbara's love for and belief in people and was instrumental in influencing the decision to open a bed and breakfast inn in Asheville in 1997. After restoring a 1905 house in the historic Montfort district, Barbara built a very successful B&B business, which she managed and enjoyed for 7+ years until her husband's business required a move to New Jersey.

With her husband's retirement, Barbara has returned to her joy of working with buyers and sellers in fulfilling their real estate dreams -in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
