                               CAROL SAUNDERS
                            “Making a Difference”

Carol Saunders is one interesting lady.  She was born in Colorado and is the daughter of Gus Keriazakos, a professional baseball pitcher with the Chicago White Sox in the early 1950’s.

Carol has held many different and interesting positions that continued her “touch with celebrity” and also with real estate.  She was Assistant to the President of the Real Estate Division of Day Properties in Memphis, Tennessee, providing administrative support for company-owned properties. This led her  to be recommended for and earned her the job of Assistant to Country Music Entertainer Charlie Rich, where she helped mange the many details of his music career, travel and family life. From there she moved to a position as Assistant to Avron Fogelman, Real Estate Developer and co-owner of the Kansas City Royals baseball team.  Later she followed her attorney husband to new jobs in Hilton Head, South Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina where she once again was involved in the entertainment industry as Assistant to President/CEO of Multimedia, Inc., the company that among other things produced the Phil Donahue Show, the  Sally Jesse Raphael Show and the Rush Limbaugh Show.

During the several years in South Carolina, Carol and her sons, Jason and Andrew, made many trips to Asheville and were drawn more and more to the mountains.  They made their move here 15 years ago and their love affair with the mountains continues to this day. When she first moved to Asheville, Carol managed property for a local real estate company. She also spent several years in the Buncombe County school system where she gained extensive knowledge of the local schools.  Through her sons’ involvement in golf, soccer and basketball, she is also very familiar with  the areas many recreational and athletic programs.

  Carol’s many and varied experiences have required the handling of highly confidential information, excellent management skills, and the ability to be flexible and accurate in intense situations.  All of these learned skills sound like the job description for a really good real estate agent, and they are!  Now her real estate buyers and sellers receive the benefit of Carol’s past experience as they receive highly professional and organized service from her.  Her calm demeanor and grasp of the importance of the detail work involved in a successful real estate transaction brings “kudos” from her former clients.  Her philosophy is:  It truly is the little things in life that matter and that make a difference.
