Darcy was born in Florida but grew up in South Asheville. She graduated from TC Roberson High School in 1986 and attended UNC-A & AB Tech. She spent several years caring for her 3 young daughters. Once they started school, Darcy began her real estate career. She has consistently been a multi-million dollar producer and has earned several top agent awards.

Darcy volunteers with Meals on Wheels, is a buyer's agent helping Habitat for Humanity find land to build affordable housing, is a member of the Affordable Housing Coalition in Swannanoa, and is a community volunteer for a variety of events.
