John “Gig” Gilbert

Gig, as he is known to his friends, hails from Ft. Lauderdale, FL  but has lived in the Asheville area for over 5 years.  Before becoming involved in real estate, Gig was a personal representative for Congressman E. Clay Shaw and has a great understanding of the political process.

Gig has an extensive background in real estate both as an agent and as an owner.  He is familiar with on-site and traditional residential sales and brings a strong background in the luxury home arena.  A graduate of “Ole Miss”, Gig still finds himself pulling for his team on football Saturdays but also enjoys many activities, including, most sports, gardening, travel, and quality time with family and church.
