Mary Kay Buhrke
Real Estate has been my passion since 2004, when I first became a Realtor specializing in luxury, second home, retirement and golf course community properties. My husband and I moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina in 1998 from the northwest suburbs of Chicago where I was in banking for 20 years. As Vice President of Operations one of my responsibilities was establishing customer service training programs, a topic that is just as important in this profession.
I enjoy working with people and matching them with the perfect home/lifestyle and have learned that it requires a much better listener than talker. I have a very Midwestern personality with which I think most people find easy to work. I love to work hard and have been fortunate enough to be a multi-million dollar producer every year, exceeding $30,000,000 so far. My clients are mostly referrals and I treat others' family and friends as my own.
I am a Realtor, Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, e-PRO, New Home Construction Specialist and Residential Construction Certified which helps me to provide clients with a higher level of service whether buying, selling or building. Also, we completed building a new home 2009 which allows me to share our experiences and lessons learned. If there is any free time I enjoy golf, walking my 2 dogs, hiking, but the best is fishing with my husband in the Keys.
