Sharon Morgan, is a native of Haywood County and has been licensed since 1992. She was named Haywood County REALTOR of the Year in 2002 and with over $24 million in sales was named the Haywood county Top Producer in 2005.
Sharon is equally committed to her real estate profession and to her community and she has earned numerous accolades for her many achievements in both arenas. At the same time, her energy, drive and organizational skills allow her to be a top real estate agent whose real estate clients become life long raving fans.
• Haywood County Board of Realtors activities include: serving as a Director Chairperson of Professional Standards Committee, Chairperson of Community service and Vice President for Haywood REALTORS.
• North Carolina Association of Realtors activities include: Director; Cultural Diversity, Equal Opportunity committee and REALTORS Safety Council.
• Non Real Estate Honors include: Woman of the Year-American Business Women’s Association, Volunteer of the Year; The ARC of Haywood county, and also served as a Director for The ARC and was recognized for outstanding service, Spirit Award winner 2003, 2005 by co-workers, recognized in “2003 Women of Haywood County.”
• Community Service activities include: KARE- coat and sweater drive, blanket drive for the homeless, Red Cross blood drive, food drive for Haywood Christian Ministries, United Way Day of Caring and fundraising, book drive for children’s wing of Haywood regional Medical Center, Waynesville Community play ground project, Rotary/REALTOR Habitat for Humanity house in Canton, Haywood Rotary Club.
• 2010 Community Service Award: The Arc of Haywood County was formed in 1976. Their mission is to provide residential services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc recognizes that all people should have the opportunity to live and be a part of their community.
• 2010 Raving Fans Award: This award is given to the broker associate who created the most “raving fans” during the calendar year based upon review of returned performance evaluations and letters of commendation.
