Sonny is a second generation real estate broker. He has been a Realtors® since 2004. His occupations prior to real estate has provided Sonny with advanced knowledge of the Henderson County and Hendersonville government, water and sewer infrastructure, emergency services and the working mechanics of city and county services. Sonny has served Henderson County as a law enforcement officer and fire fighter. Sonny is the former fire chief of Valley Hill Fire Department. He is interested in and studies the history of the city, county, and the Town of Laurel Park. Sonny has lived great life experiences in the mountains. He has invested a lifetime making relationships and contacts with people in Western North Carolina. Sonny received his education through the Henderson County Public Schools system. He continued his education at Blue Ridge Community College and A/B Technical College. His concentration of study and major was business administration.
Sonny is an integral part of the Hendersonville NC Real Estate Team and conducts his business from the Hendersonville Beverly-Hanks & Associates office. His real estate business is diversified with his colleague Lee Stepp. They close 22-28 transaction a year on average. Sonny & his wife Jennifer live in Laurel Park with their dogs Zeke & Lexi. Sonny enjoys guitar, scuba diving, golf, running and walking, reading and history of the area.
