Before entering the real estate profession Richard had a 30 year Corporate Executive and Ownership background. This commercial refrigeration and restaurant equipment business took him to all of Western North Carolina's counties, giving him knowledge of not only Asheville but the surrounding areas as well. His extensive business experience was the perfect background for succeeding in real estate. He is very organized and detailed, an excellent problem solver and a seasoned contract negotiator. All of these attributes are a must in the maze of the modern day real estate transaction.
Richard is involved with many aspects of the real estate market, working with both buyers and sellers. His specialties include residential sales, new home communities, and land sales. He is a consistent $Multimillion Dollar Producer and has received multiple monthly Sales Leader and Residential Top Producer awards. The 2008 Certificate of Award for the Beverly-Hanks Mortgage Services Referral Leader was presented to him for his achievements in that area.
Richard is proud to be a devoted family man, married to his wife Carol for 34 years. They have two grown children, two grandchildren, with a third due in June 2010. During his leisure time you will find he and Carol touring our scenic back roads in their convertible, hiking and exploring year-round, taking trips to their coastal get-a-way, spending time with family, and counting their blessings.
